ndc BRIDGE - HOT WIND dual coil guitar pickups

This innovative pickup combines the dynamic qualities of a single coil pickup with the noise canceling bite and midrange stomp of a humbucker. The NDC projects a clean and bluesy yet overtly responsive and tonally loaded vibe; allowing the player to experience a vast array of melodic articulation and progressive functionality between the high and low frequencies stimulated at the fingerboard. This pickup’s tone is of traditional single coil stock, with the two coils in series giving it the slightly beefier mids needed for the traditional humbucker stamp of approval. Any player looking to satisfy a craving for the best characteristics of a single coil without losing the extra oomph of a humbucker should give one of these bad boys a try.

No covers—raw, fully exposed laser cut vulcanized fiber.

Each pickup is calibrated and specially designed for its position: 53mm (Fender) wide spacing, or 50mm (Gibson) narrow spacing

Wax-potted to contain any unruly frequency that may attempt to desecrate your tonal zone.

History: These pickups were forged out of a necessity for efficiency in the early days of our company. Through finding an innovative way to produce a six-string humbucker without the need of the many parts that go into building models like our NVH or BoneCrusher, the NDC’s bluesy succulence and beefy mids were discovered.
